Heroscape True Landscape Tiles Mod

Description
This mod is a supplementary mod to Dissonance's original Heroscape mod.

As such you will need to also Subscribe to that mod to be able to fully enjoy this game.

All props included are from Dissonance's Heroscape Mod.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Due to the engine limitiations of Tabletop Sim, all tiles except the single hex tile use a seperate collider mesh that is smaller than the model due to a collision problem when using the mesh as a collider. To fix this place tiles as normal but when using the 24 hex tiles be wary of the 3 hex outcropping as the collider mesh needs to be edited as some tiles fall through the mesh. In order to combat this it is advised that when the models are placed you lock them in place then follow this process. Right click > Custom > "delete" Collider > Import. That will then make the collider mesh a box that will stop any models from falling through.

I own the original Heroscape set when it came out, as well as the Road to the Forgotten Forest, Volcarren Wasteland, and Fortress of the Archkyrie.
I remember there being more pieces in the original sets then what is being offered in this mod. Perhaps you can add a copy feature which allows you to make copies of the tiles.
Also, it is impossible to stack water, swamp water, lava, and I'm assuming ice tiles as well. One isn't supposed to stack them.
This is supposed to be constructive criticism to help improve this mod.

Thanks!

Also something that I personally like to do with this. Going into your single-tile piece, Custom, copy the image, then go to Dissonance's 1 tile piece, then replacing the texture. Looks really good and works!

Only suggest it for grass areas with no edges though, since you cannot easily count them if stacked.

I've already spoken to him about it but thanks and you too i'm loving the HD models and Cards

I'd try to get into talks with Dissonance if you haven't already to ask for ideas on how you can get your colliders to work. All I know is that they have to be funny and not exactly like how you initially think they should. Good luck!

Thanks I wanted to capture the real look of the Physical tiles and I have updated the Description with the fix. Hopefully it will be modified in a way that works shortly

Deleting the collider mesh, and then trying to place the tiles wont work. That's why they need to be on when placing the field.

I like the textures too btw.

Temporary fix:

Place your tiles normally.

Once the field is finalized, and no more changes are going to be made>

Lock all pieces >

Right click an individual piece > Custom > Delete 'Collider' > Import

Repeat for all pieces and it should now work with the figures.
