Description

Since I lost the original data for this mod any further changes like bug fixes or balance changes will be made in that mod.


I am adding class-specific specializations that either improve existing class-traits or open up a possibility to change the playstyle for the class.

Currently added:
Warlord; Horselord - Improves mounted units by increasing their HP, giving them post-battle regeneration and increasing their charge damage. Also provides access to the "Raider", a light cavalry unit that can hurl nets and javelins.

Sorcerer; Arcane Battleforce - Every mana node produces 4 gold in exchange for 3 less mana. Enables the production of improved phantom warriors and mana node snakes from your cities. Also provides access to the "Phantom-Blademaster", a hard hitting phase infantry unit.

Theocrat; Fanatic - Increased global happiness in exchange for diplomatic penalties. Improves devout units and increases the damage of infantry-, cavalry- and pike-units against machines. Also provides access to the "Inquisitor", a cavalry unit that is able to denounce heretics

Archdruid; Elementalist - Improves support units by giving them extra resistance and defense. Grants extra resistances against elemental damage types and the "Blizzard" global spell which deals damage and inflicts frostbite to an army. Also provides access to the "Elementalist", a support unit that can turn elementals, support allies in battle and increase the experience gain of elementals, monsters and animals in the same army.

Dreadnought; Royal Army - Improves non-machine units of the Dreadnought by reducing their cost, giving them extra damage, movement range and making them immune to poisonous gas. Also provides access to the "Dragoon", a heavy cavalry unit that can fire a musket.

Necromancer; Harvester of Souls - Gains research points for units killed in battle. Provides access to the "Harvest" ability that consumes a cadavar and improves a unit's fighting capabilities. Improves undead inccorporeal units and provides a combat spell to make all allied units fearsome. Also provides access to the "Lich", a monster unit that can spawn lost souls out of cadavers in battle.

Rogue; Dark Syndicate - Gains +5 gold out of every dungeon, trade post and tavern. Reduces the cost of diplomatic actions, improves assassins and scoundrels and gives access to black market buildings to further increase your cities output. Also provides access to the "Mercenary", a cheap infantry unit with a high upkeep cost.

What do you mean by that? What is an Empire Building mod? If by saved game compatible you mean activating the mod and continuing an old save I'm not sure. I don't know if the added stuff will show up but I think it should.

I can't seem to find the Witch Hunt spell anywhere in the mod, what pack is it in?

Those Phantasm Blademasters are super ugly :D Other than that very interesting subclass so far. Arcane Enchantment is bit stronger on high elves, might be because of their racial shock damage buff. Union guard is 9phys + 6 shock instead of 4

It works with Deluxe Specialization Combination Selection :) need to see units in game to talk about balance or tweaks but certainly interesting so far

It "eats" one spec slot? It is a spec so it uses one slot if you take it, that's true. You can see what the specs bring to the table ingame through the Tome of Wonders.

So this eats one spec slot, there is no readme of what spells, skills or units are your specs adding to game? Willing to try but I am at work for 2 more days so wanted to take a peek :D
