Halo Longsword (Halo Combat Evolved Model)

Why this model?? Because I saw a request and thought, why not...

I found this model on the http://www.models-resource.com website Uploaded by Shadowth117 who requested that credit go to TheGhost.

This model is HUGE. I rescaled it for use with the CS size models, but as you can see the TF models fit quite well also. The picture above of the TF2 Characters are at full scale. I scaled it this way so the cockpit and cargo areas could be used.

Anyway, I had to rework most of the controls because they were a lot messy_errr than they are now.

The ramp is retractable, the ailerons and flaps work. I added bombay doors and 2 guide bones for getting characters into the cockpit easier... just bewarned that when you zero them into place, they end up upside down in the chairs. The ramp arm and piston are boned as well. I even included bombay doors that can be opened and closed. The Afterburner effect (2 cones that come out of the engines) are on a flex controller.

If you plan to use this model in a standard map, you're going to have to scale it down to fly it. If you plan to use the cockpit and cargo hold for shots, ensure that the area being shot is in the map, or your models will disappear and become bones only in front of the camera.

All bones (except for the root transform) and the Flex control for the AB effect will be found in the unknow controls group. You can add them to your SourceFilmmaker\game\platform\cfg\sfm_defaultanimationgroups.txt file to make them known.
