Description
Made to fit as an enlarged cockpit for a ship, using a connector located at the rear end. If you decouple this part from the rear of a spacecraft, it can turn into a fast escape pod. Having a lot of engines at the rear which are free to go when the connector is cleared, it turns into a blazing fast escape pod.

Features:

+ 2 Gatling guns, for when things start to get hot
+ 4 Small cargo containers
+ 1 Oxygen tank
+ 6 Small reactors
+ 2 Frontal spotlights
+ 6 Gyroscopes, which can be decreased by 5 using a single hotkey, if you want precision maneuvring
+ 1 Emergency beacon, for when you are stranded
+ 3 Landing gears

Everything is connected with the conveyor system for easy access.
I have only used stock parts in this vessel.

The downside of this escape pod is its light armor. It is necessary to keep the ship maneuvrable, and when decoupling the rear part of the ship, you've got a temporary shield anyway.

The best way to use this is to have a rear part of the ship that's got his own thrusters. Turn on your inertia dampeners, quickly decouple the escape pod from the main vessel, turn off your inertia dampeners, enable the extra engines and go full speed ahead! This makes the rear part of your ship smash into the enemy while you've got time to escape.
