Starfighter MK:II [Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy]

The default starting ship of the Human Alliance from the late, great web game Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy.

It has of course been altered to work better in a 3D plane and with Space Engineer's mechanics. Apart from that I tried to make it as faithful to the original design as I could without the use of additional mods.

Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy was a free-roaming, 100% free to play top-down space shooter developed by flash game developer Ben Olding. After hackers had managed to hack and delete all user accounts, the game was shut down to single-player only, and after a while, was removed completely.

Works on an updated sequel have begun, dubbed "Starfighter: Infinity" that aims to be reminiscent to the original game, with cleaner coding, newer features and better security from hackers. Development is currently slowed due to financial and time issues. If you wish to help support a great developer create a great game, please go help him out.

I plan to recreate as many of the game's ships as I can, and all I hope is that I can drive just a little attention towards this guy's work and kick-start the hype train.
