@Eanred No.they were ethnic Greeks,much like many of the Isaurian family came to be at some point. The diffrence is,Macedonians always were Greeks,the Isaurians had a mixed origin and then were Hellinized

Arguably Alexander has more incommon with the isaurian barbarians then he did with the noble greeks, being the the macedonian's were actually greek larpers and not infact ethnic greeks.

Its more like saying Julius Caesar was a Gaul
