Description
The Free Colonies Navy and Tychonius Planetary Expedition Fleet
After the Succession Wars with the Terran Dominion, the colonies Khedhar, Sat Prime and Cirnum formed an independant federation of planets named; The Free Colonies.

A decade of reconstruction had gone by, it's 2247.
Rear Admiral Corrus A. Adams proposed to the leadership of a fleet, whose sous purpouse was to map and explore nearby starsystems and their planets for further expansion and colonization in the future. Not to make the same misstake of the Terran Dominion, letting overpopulation skyrocket everywhere, causing the unrest that lead to both Succession Wars.

LLF:651 Tychonius
The Tychonius left the docks for the first time in 2253. Serving as the Flagship of the expedition fleet, Tychonius carries with it a shuttle compliment of 3 PT1s and 2 PT2s, aswell as 3 landspeeders. It also comes with a built in repair bay for the shuttlecraft in the rear of the ship. Made to land on planets, while landborne Tychonius functions as a Planetary HQ.


X057 - Nimbus
The Nimbus had already it's keel lain when the order came. The expedition fleet need a protector.
"She hase to be large, and the must bristle with guns, and carry a wing of craft aswell!" the orders read, so that's what they did. She was large and strong, she had fighters, a shuttle and once landed acted as a forward HQ aswell as a small fortification.


AX-10 Vengence
In the year 2267 Axion Corp. was handed a contract by The Free Colonies Navy. To construct a Space dedicated Destroyer. 2271 the prototypes had made their final run. The AX-10 Vengence class Destroyer proved to be both a fast and nimble craft, but also included passageways in the jeffries tubes leading all over the ship, including the hidden areas such as the Engine Core and Shield assembly, making her nigh impossible to take through a boarding action since the entire crew can hide and attack from multiple directions from inside the ship. The Vengence can hold a maximum crew of 19 and either 2 PT1s/PT2s or 4 interceptors. Even though she never can land, the sheer amount of firepower and weapons onboard make up for it's lacking abilities.


CZ XR3 Rattler
The Rattler Gunship Corvette design was first introduced the year 2253 to the F.C. Navy. It was a bulky, ugly looking craft, but was a dream for any Navy Pilot. Two side mounted Quad Cannons, one top mounted Assault Gun, two 230mm Cannons, Rocket Launchers and AI operated defence turrets. Anyone who came to close would be gone in a flash. By March 7th, 2258, the Navy had produced 12 of these craft, making the Rattler a ship they would count on as a support craft with many roles. Anywhere from border patrol to leading assaults, the Rattler became known as a bringer of destruction, or, as shield in need.


CZ-571 Pick Axe
The fleet was handed a mining vessle from Axion Corp. whom was looking for future contracts should the expedition prove to be successfull. Pick Axe was not the most comfortable craft a pilot could find, but the sheer mass of resources that can be mined in just a few minutes causes this defensles, single pourpused craft, to become the livelyhood of the fleet.


XT 406 PT1 Shuttlecraft
The XT 406 PT1 Shuttlecraft where made for planet to space travel. Even though this is true she was given a bit of a bite. A 50mm side mounted cannon on the right and a Qudad 25mm cannon on the left. The passengers in the back have never felt as safe before.


XT 406 PT2 Shuttlecraft
The XT 406 PT2 is a redesigned PT1, with an adition to the original idea.
Add shields and give it more thrust! Now she is capable of intercepting bombers ahead of the fleet, and can survive long enough for reenforcements to arive.


SCH-552 Riptide
SCH-552 Riptide was made strictly for space combat. Even though it is capable of entering atmosphere, it was never designed to tuch the surface of anything but a hangar deck.


J.R. Landspeeder
Jack Russell Landspeeder is and old craft, but sturdy as a rock. The simple landspeeder can take a single passenger from point A to point B in a flash. It's also space flight capable though the passenger needs to have a space suit to venture outside a breathable atmosphere.

Thanks Rip! Going to expand it and make an aditional fleet that's a small border patrol and a small space station. When planets are out that and a planetary base are going to be added to this workshop file.

By the way, the last picture is taken on the map Blood Gulch. It's not actually in the world file, but there's gonna be a desert planet with a planetary base as soon planets are out.

If anyone would like me to add something (created from scratch by me or you) let me know and I'll get it in there as soon as possible.

No base in this world (as far as I know), but I'm working on a millitary class orbital space station.
Weapons, sensors and a ton of small craft. Going to add it at a later date.
