Drednaught CVBN-1 "Supernova"

Description
SURVIVAL READY (See note 4 below)
Mass: ~5,800,000,000 Kg
Length: ~1.3km
Blocks: ~450,000

"These Drednoughts are not only the most powerful of their kind but the most powerful things ever created by the hands of man. With a length longer than a kilometer and a mass rivaling that of a small moon they stand as the ultimate tribute to our empires strength and power." - Admiral Liam noucks 13th armada.

After the fall of the Gliese system the Empire realised the need for a vessel that could theoretically project power over an entire star system and so the Star system dominance vessel (SSDV) concept was born. Soon after the project was placed under control of the Urgent capabilities office (UCO) who then sent an RFI to various subcontractors for their design proposals. After a subcontractor down select only Black comet aerospace (BCO) and Lockbow Industries (LBI) remained. After a Virtual consctructed competetion of the two designs it was show that LBI's design had significant deficiencies in many aspects of its design most notably its slow cascading structural failure under full thrust whilst manuvering. As such BCO's concept was chosen as the winner of the competition and a contract to build the first vessel was soon signed and given the designation CVBN-1.

The design process for this class of Drednought was handled by BCO's capital ship development bureau AKA the "Dark star division". The process from concept to construction spanned almost 15 years and cost a whopping $980 Billion alone. The construction of the first ship, while not yet complete, has cost another $860 Billion and is expected to cost $460 Billion when completed.

After the Empire signed for the first ship it was quickly realised that more were needed they signed for five more of such of these goliaths of engineering and power for a total program cost of $8.2 Trillion. With the ships being christened "Supernova", "Ukonvasara", "Tolemy", "Blazar", "Enterprise", and "Ultimatum" respectivley. When they are complete they will account for almost 28% of the total tonnage of the empires entire space faring navy.

These Drednaughts will form center of their respective fleets as such they each have their own refining and manufacturing systems to support prolonged fleet operations in deep space. All cargo and ammo connections have at least secondary and up to quadinary connections to enable the ship to continue to fight even after sustaining damage to roughly 75% of the ship.

Each drednaught is capable of carrier operations with a mix of 40 fighters, 40 drones, and 4 heavy bombers, they can also readily accomodate mining, drop pods, repair and salvage vessels if need be.
NOTE: It is recommended that the customer equip both strike fighters and heavy bombers for both space and atmospheric roles.

Weapon systems include an extensive complement of offensive and defensive weapons. Including 2 primary mass drivers, 8 large torpedo tubes, 6 medium VLS (vertical launch system) cells, 12 Large VLS cells, railgun turrets, large caliber guns, hundreds of lasers, CWIS, Flak, missile launchers, gatling cannons, decoys, and torpedoes. Most of the listed offensive weapons have the capability to either bombard a planet or provide a pinpoint strike or in the case of the VLS cells they can act as drop pod bays if need be.

Electronic attack capablities are provided by twin cooperatively paired AN/ALQ-982 Electronic attack systems.
While ECM & ECCM (electronic counter measures & electronic counter counter measures) Is handled by six distributed and linked AN/ALQ-1082 systems

The power plant consist of twin 8 core anti-matter reactors supplimented by 6 single core fusion reactors in conjunction with Super capacitors for a combined output of 750GW. Stand-by power is provided by hybrid nuclear reactors and batteries.

Passive defence consist of a large 150 GW shield array cappable of ressiting a 300+ megaton thermonuclear blast (or its equivalent) and has 25% a second recharge rate. Armor can be up to 20+ meters thick of heavy armor in areas. It consist of layers of heavy and "Advanced armor" with 50mm Thk. bolt on armor plates protecting various critical or otherwise exposed areas of the hull and subsystems.

Mobility is provided by a vast array of thrusters in all directions, most notably the rear array having 20X zebras 2X leviathan thrusters and hundreds of supporting thrusters cappable of providing up to 3.5Gs of acceleration. It also contains a massive warp drive array capable of warping the ship
75,500,000 Km in a single jump.

Classification break down:
CV: Carrier
B: Battleship (shortened from BB)
N: Nuclear
1: First of its class

The CVBN-1 "Supernova" carries the motto "Per a caelis incidunt" which translates to "through the heavens fall" which is derived from its ability to cause a mass extinction level event with a single shot from either of its two primary mass drivers.

NOTES:
1. This is also (so far as I know) the heaviest (and possibly largest) ship built in SE and posted on the WS
2. The interior is nowhere near done.
3. If you want to help or have ideas for any of the above please tell me in either the comments or via PM.
4. As crazy as it may sound, it is survival ready, so you can build if you want. Although I haven't finished the shipyard intended to automatically build and service these vessels but feel free to make your own, in fact it'd be happy to see stuff like that.

However I want to contrast the interior Greys and whites with a blue hue lighting as it make the interiors seem less cramped for crew.
like this:

The crew spaces should be cramped for the lowest ranked and get progressivley nicer as you go up in rank. To the point the captains Quarters are down right Luxurious.

May I ask what kinds of thrusters you are using for this build? I am attempting something of a similar scale right now and because these ships are soo massive you need really powerful thrusters for them.

I'll get you a mods list in screen shot format bc there are tons. cant send em right now bc I'm on my work laptop atm so as soon as I get back to my desktop ill get them to you. Sure man I'll be more than happy to help. What size, mass, or other requirments are you targeting for its build?
