Description

Description:

The Jackdaw is a large Heavy Cruiser class ship designed for speed and firepower. It has a sleek design with two enormous Engine Bays containing 12 Industrial Thrusters altogether allowing the ship to reach high speeds extremely quickly. The ship features a large number of gatling turrets and missile turrets all placed strategically for the best firing arcs and protection. The ship also has a good mix of heavy and light armor to strike the perfect balance between speed and durability.

At the rear and centre of the ship is the hanger which can hold a variety of ships with 5 connectors in total. The ship also has two exterior connectors and there are a number of interior turrets all strategically placed within the ship to protect against assailants. There are two main bridge: the front and top bridges. All rooms are directly acessible from the hanger and the two bridges use their own airlocks. The front bridge is designed for a crew with more protections and more terminals whereas the top bridge is designed for one player with large, solid views and its own doors leading outside, all airlocked. At the bottom of the ship, underneath the nose is the yellow zone which contains the main reactors, storage and systems. It features expansive views and a defendable interior design. Both the hanger and the Yellow zone feature strategically palced catwalks for defences. There are also two medical stations in the yellow zone.

Finally there is also acess to the Engine Bays on the sides which are seperately airlocked and contain more systems and reactors functioning as both crew quarters and maintenence rooms.

Features:

Warnings/known issues:

- pressurisation is currently not completely functional mainly due to depressurising not working thus upon opening exterior doors which don't feature double door air locking the room the is still pressurised and the player is knocked away, this might have something to do with oxygen storages being always full in creative and thus rooms can't be depressurised as the oxygen had no where to go. It is recommended that you use the hanger as the entrance and not exterior doors as they will knock you back.
