Are you supposed to be notified when you complete one of the quests? I had Lord Oaksworth congratulate me and extend my mandate for seemingly no reason right after the first ship with colonists arrived. It only happened once though, and I can't reproduce it even if I open up a new save

This map is a contender for the G.O.A.T. This is my style of play in a map, essentially.

Ohh, and a tip or rather desire: Make the quest-"logbook" available as pdf/download.

Excellent! Tropico modding art, deserves much more appreciation.
Since yesterday i'm coming back to T5, watched at Steam workshop for something nice, and spotted your artful map/mission collection. Finally, today i will try a first one ... Sheppards Island.
P.S. Myselfa modder, i can imagine what workload went into your story-based maps. Thanks a lot!

Re: Uranium. It's a scarce and powerful endgame resource, so you're likely to only find it in very remote locations. Try high up in mountainous terrain. It won't be easy to get to, and even harder to mine.

No resource should be missing. It's been a long time since I posted this, but I can promise you that I wouldn't have forgotten Uranium. That was a very carefully balanced map. You'll find it sooner or later...
(P.S. All your counts are actually quite low. There's probably a lot more that you haven't found yet. I took great care to hide resources really well to make exploration rewarding.)

Theres no Uran on this map, is this right? But 2x Iron, 1 gold, 1 bauxit, 1 coal - so i can stop scanning if thats all

I played Tropico 5 for a good year - and eventually ran out of maps that challenged me; unfortunately, the randomly generated maps are just meh: blobs without peaks, valleys or reasons to get creative. This map is for experienced players; and I think it represents real life to a degree: while humans control powerful tools, ultimately with all our technology, we still have to adapt our plans to fit nature's prerogatives. The $100k budget is there for a reason: you should feel free to experiment, and have a margin for error. If you don't get the road right the first time, you should have enough money to do it better on second try.
