If the mod didn't work, found the 541551823.vpk in Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop , and move it to Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\ .

It doesn't include the characters mod.
I recommend you choose the following characters mod packages at the same time.
