Description
"Southport is a small township in far south Tasmania, the most southern township in Australia (Cockle Creek is located further south, but it is not a gazetted town). The suburb of Southport had a population of 372 in 2011. It was settled in 1837 and grew to be the largest town south of Hobart; but a declining shipping industry slowly led to the town's shrinking population, and much of it has been destroyed by fire."

The map presents somewhat of a challenge as far as Skylines maps goes. The terrain is not the easiest and all the land connections, who are quite few, join into the playable area from the same direction. Resources are fairly sparse but with excellent sea connections there are good oppurtunities for a maritime based export and import.

The two highways join the map in a very spartan, and rurally minded, intersection that will have to be upgraded when the traffic becomes heavier.

- Temperate theme
- Connections: 2 highway, 2 railroad, 4 airplane and 4 ship.
- Roughly 140K trees used.
- All resources.
- I recommend using a 25-tile mod.

This could have been a great map, but the work put in it is not even mediocre. The railway is the terrible, it's more like a roller coaster than railroad. Trains don't work that way...

Can I build in South Arm on this map?

Attention! :steamfacepalm: Trains do not work with this map.

Checked the map, found a missing piece of rail near the map entry point. I fixed it using the cheat tile unlocker, but still no trains.

For some reason, no trains arrive at my stations. Could you quickly check if the connections on your last version are ok?

Your maps are really great because they provide a challenge (rather than plain flat cities). exellent detail too. Great work!

Haha aye, the dream came true at long last, not exactly the size I wanted but it worked out quite well in the end.
