Description
The Gendarme is a major improvement on the Sabre Class Corvette. Incorporating more firepower, speed and sensor range it can be quickly deploted to anti-commerce-raider or anti-pirate duties.

This ship features the newest generation of Beyuran gyroscopic mobility engines and an experimental weapons array.

That's the idea! I envisaged it as a late-game corvette to be equipped with prototype weapons or sacrifice protection for a heavier weapons array. :)
