Description
No longer being worked on.

Enables the Stun Gun and the Stun Rifle (both designed to non-lethally incapacitate enemies) once Stun Weapons have been researched (might require a New Game to take effect).

Images for the Stun Gun and the Stun Rifle are derived from images provided by the original game (Xenonauts, by Goldhawk Interactive).





::::: WEAPON DESCRIPTION :::::
The third method of incapacitating our enemies, as devised by our scientists after studying extraterrestrial biology, is by electrical current delivered at a sufficiently high voltage, which will utterly disrupt the nervous system of the victim and render them unconscious. These are prototype weapons designed exactly for this purpose.

just thinking about it can you how to mod the picture because i think the alien battle rifle looks better, and how about a stun bomb launcher like the one in UFO defense.

I created a 'Dart Gun' mod quite a while back that's on the Xeno forums. It's a stun gun. I thought the lack of a stun gun in this game, when they were so prevalent in the originals, was baffling. Why make it intentionally hard to capture aliens with just stun batons?

I stopped supporting the mod quite a while back as well, so I don't even know if it works anymore. Nice to see people feel the same about stunning as I do.

So um i somehow hit a car and made it explode and kill the stun gun person and a civillian and stunning civs doesnt kill them so it doesnt effect that score. Unless they get killed while stunned.

Hehe, I hadn't thought about or tried that, but I suppose that's possible :D I dunno if they'll end up as "dead" in the post-mission statistics, or not. Give it a try :)
