TCS HUNLEY

Description
The TCS HUNLEY is a new "Star Class" Escort Cruiser, designed to protect Terran Confederate supply vessels from pirates and raiders.

The Terran Confederation has lost too many supply ships recently to enemy raids / pirate attacks. They needed a ship that was small and fast, but also large enough to take a beating and dish one out as well.

Enter the "STAR CLASS" escort cruiser. A fast, agile ship, capable of operating in a battlegroup as well as independently. Although not a Capitol ship, it is still equipped with a smaller "emergency" jump drive, capable of jumping the ship a short distance away from the immediate area. However, this feature should ONLY be used in the most extreme, dire circumstances, as fleet commanders frown upon captains who abandon their escort duties.

Although capable of running with a bare minimum (skeletal) crew of only 2, the TCS HUNLEY has accomidations for 6 people. 4 spartan crew cabins line both sides of the ship, with a more luxorious Captain's cabin and Officer's quarters near the front PORT and STARBOARD, respectively. In the center at the front of the ship likes the Comand Center, while the dead center of the ship holds the Engineering section.

The Airlocks are located on the foward sides of the ship (Port and Starboard) near the wings, while immediately after the boarding ramps lies the Triage Center (Starboard Side), and the cargo hold (Port side). The very back of the ship contains the main drives, and Port and Starboard escape pods (3 each side), as well as back-up life support systems.

Note that Terran Confederate Admirality authorizes the use of the escape pods **ONLY** when under IMMEDIATE threat of death or destruction. Anyone found to have fled when there was still a chance for the ship to survive, will be court-martialed as a deserter (war time) or as a coward (peace time). The use of the escape pods is considered a "LAST RESORT", when all other options have failed. However, it is expected that the "captain goes down with the ship", as the Terran Confederacy does not look kindly upon captains who lose their ships. Any captain who SHOULD happen to survive or flee the destruction of their ship, will most likely be disgraced. Such captains typically never receive another command, again, and will usually end up in a desk-job or at some backwater outpost in a non-critical, low-importance sector of space. Those captains who DO go down with their ships are celebrated as heroes whom died fighting - Giving their lives to preserve the Confederacy.


BUGS:
======

-I really REALLY wanted to submit this as a blue-print, but unfortunately, I could not. There was always a problem of the escape pods either missing, or half of them exploding as soon as the ship was spawned, ripping a giant hullbreach into the ship.
-Blow Back... the main cooridor is a low-pressure area, and will typically get "blow back" when accessing the other compartments (which have full pressure), while the rear (stardrive) section is NOT oxygenated (it contains the escape pods, and engines, so no need).
-Other bugs?!?
