Vess's PC Pack: Dwarves

Description
-Update Nov 19: Missing/broken models should load correctly now.

Included in this pack are:

-31 new player character models

-The Wealth of the Ancestors treasure bag

-Male and female versions of the basic RPG class types

As I continue to try and provide the TTS community with more useful/helpful models and assets for RPGs and the like, I realized that I was overlooking one of the most important assets of all: Player models!

So, in my latest model collection I focused on making Dwarven PC's that could appropriately fill the roles of most base classes (i.e. fighter, rogue, wizard). This is the first of several PC collections that upon completion should provide you with a comprehensive combination of races, classes and genders for all your RPG needs! My first priority is to get each of the various racial collections out as soon as possible (While not sacrificing quality) and then go back and add more in-depth and detailed versions of each class over time. So if you're wondering "Hey, can we get a rogue model with a different weapon or outfit combination?" the answer is yes. Just after I make sure there is a model of each class for each race then I will work on adding more alternate models.

In the meantime, make sure to check out my other workshop stuff here:

What are those strange creatures with the Dwarves? They look like female Dwarves, but everyone knows they don't exist, so what could they be? :P

@ScreamInVain: Thank you, im glad you're enjoying my mods! I do try to make new collision boxes when I feel it's necessary, but I'll get in the practice of doing that with every model just to be on the safe side. I appreciate your feedback and will try to have these updated ASAP :MrSkull:

Heya, first off I wanna say I love these mods. They are fantastic! But, would it be possible to change the collision meshes? They are pretty big right now. Big enough that I can't put other objects less that 2 squares away from most of them on a 1x1 scale board. Especially when weapons and such are sticking out... Makes it pretty difficult to play :\

Unless I'm mistaken, I spy a few World of Warcraft Models in there.

Aye, I've gone through the process before to rip Dawn of War models. It's a pain.

40k is certainly the more popular of the two (Especially now since GW canned WHF for AoS) and was where I started as well. But it has decades worth of material and a large dedicated fan base so i'm positive you'll have no problem find other players!
I certainly appreciate the offer and will keep that in mind :MrSkull:. Just learning how to export and import OBJs from other sources into TTS isn't as difficult as it is time consuming. A large part of why I continue to use WoW and Dota for my mods is because of ease of access to objs and their textures(as well as sticking to a consistent art style). Otherwise, say for games like Dark Souls, I have to go inside the game client and use 3D Ripper DX to take a 3D screenshot and capture whatever it is I want to export and then sort it out and assemble it into a single object in Blender. Furthermore, 3D Ripper doesn't work on games that don't use DirectX 6, 8 or 9

Aye, first models I grabbed were the humans because they reminded me of the Empire! :D

I'm a big fan of the setting, but I've unfortunately only played 40K. If you do get around to doing some WHF models that would be awesome! I'm not much of a modeller and I'm terrible painting textures but if I can help do minor edits just let me know. :)

@Drake: It's funny you say that since I had been playing around with that very idea. I am an unashamedly HUGE Warhammer Fantasy fanboy and it has a heavy influence on how I design some of the character outfits. Some of my human models for example are based on Empire State Troops (Halberdiers, Great swords and Hand gunners) and some of the Dwarven fighters here resemble Slayers (Still playing with the idea of making Gotrek and Felix models) At some point I'll try and export models from the various WHF games so that you can have authentic Warhammer units and not just WoW models that resemble them. :steamhappy:

I've been thrilled with what you've done so far. Though my plans for your models is more along the lines of wargaming. (Warhammer Fantasy to be precise) Thank you for setting these up.
