Map is Created like the real Area Pointe du Hoc ! I was working with Photos from 1944 and from today, i was eaven useing Googlemap !

Pointe du Hoc lies 6.4 km west of the center of Omaha Beach as part of the Atlantic Wall fortifications.The German defend plan was to build six casements and circular gun pits, which housed 155mm guns. The guns would have threatened the Allied landings on Omaha and Utah beaches when finished, risking heavy casualties to the landing forces. The location was bombed in April 1944, after which the Germans removed the 155mm guns. During preparation for Operation Overlord it was determined that Pointe du Hoc should be attacked by ground forces, to prevent the Germans using the casements for observation. The U.S. 2nd and 5th Ranger Battalions were given the task of assaulting the strong point early on D-Day. More then 48 Houers,the Rangers fended off several counter-attacks from the German Wehrmacht, before Units from Omaha Beach linked up with the survivors.

After a long break i will release a new map this Christmas for the Community ! when i was done with my Map : In Vino Veritas , i sayd im done with mapping because i was pisst by all the relic updates who destroyd the Game Ballance completly.

Now after my Clanmate Lt.Clifford made the Coh2 Improved MOD ( best mod ever made for this Game with anything the Game loost by relic updates and eaven better then on Game release ) im back and i will create a new Map every Year.
