[Outdated - old engine]

After the development of new cannon systems, an overhaul of the fleet was deemed necessary. The Narwhal Class is the replacement for the Marlin Class Destroyer.

Careful attention was given to every inch of the ship, refining and streamlining in every way possible. All 3 turrets have been redesigned. The rear turret was moved lower in the hull to help with balance, and a 3-tube torpedo turret was added. Defensively, the shields were repositioned and reworked to provide better protection, and shields have been added to each turret. Also, a missile decoy/interceptor system has been added, drastically increasing the survivability of the destroyer.

Armament:
3x2 123mm Advanced Cannons with high speed/high explosive rounds
2x6 Missile Launchers with IR-Camera equipped frag missiles
1x3 Torpedo Launcher with sonar tracking frag torpedoes
2x3 Missile Interceptor Launchers with decoy flare interceptor missiles
