Danube-Class Runabout (Star Trek)

Description
Craft Description
"The Danube-class was first commissioned by Starfleet in 2368 for use as a light multipurpose craft in situations that demanded a vessel more capable than a standard shuttlecraft, but lower profile than a full-sized starship."
- taken from the Memory Alpha wiki

This blueprint is a full-scale recreation of The Danube-class runabout, heavily featured in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Exterior layout is as true-to-show as I could manage, while interior is more sparse to allow configuration as needed. It is fully operational and mod-free.

Dimensions: 23 x 13.5 x 5.5 meters (46 x 27 x 11 small blocks) + 2.5m height (5 blocks) w/ Combat Module

Usage Notes
Survival supplied (serviceable conveyor and cockpit intake vents; minimal supplies if pasted in creative).

In higher-gravity planets, the propulsion from the combat module would be necessary to escape to orbit. It can be ditched if not changing environment, if desired.

As a small ship, it retains enhanced dampeners. Under heavy cargo load in gravity, it may lose altitude if under-thrusters are directly controlled. Simply aware.

Mod Free
Recommended Mods:
What's a Star Trek ship without shields? Runabouts are fragile without them; I recommend Energy Shields mod.

Star Trek without teleporters? I recommend Easy 2 Step Teleportation. Though, I haven't tested if that one works with a small ship beacon.

Design Fluff
(Read if interested. TL;DR? Skip.)
White used: Hue 0; Saturation -100; Value 40

This was one of my first ships in which I explored small ship blocks built to a more large ship scale. I sidelined it due to problems and shortcomings within Space Engineers at the time, as well as less experience and insight on my part. It's at a point I can be content with the design, and serve a purpose with planets introduced.

Though DS9 only shows one configuration that I can recall, the Danube is meant to be modular -- swapping its cargo area for personnel accomodations, greater cargo, or whatever is needed. Therefore I left the interior largely open.

No. They fixed ions in atmosphere? Cool.

Just tested it. Ions work fine for me; still flies the same. Last week's patch broke ion dampening in atmo, but they fixed it with the Friday hotfix. If it's not working for you, I'm not sure what's up. Are you running a mod that conflicts with default thruster behavior, perhaps?

Pitty Ions don't work on planets anymore. Any chance you could refit for Hydros?
Though I may do it myself and upload with of course credit to you on original.
