LOCO Intercity 125 Power Car - DH Train

Britain's iconic high speed train from the 70's, built to compete against motorways and make rail travel more attractive. Still widely in use today, it holds the record as the fastest diesel locomotive in the world.

This Space Engineers incarnation of the Intercity can be driven from either of its ends. Locomotives behave weirdly when hauled as wagons if their wheels have too much friction, so each power car has two modes: Trailer Mode and Driving Mode.

In "Trailer Mode", Drive Wheel friction is set to 0%, wheel speed limits are reset and lights are reversed. Switching between the modes is automatic (using timer blocks - I'm too stupid to learn how to program. :P)

1) When sitting in the cockpit, press { 6 } on the toolbar to go into Driving Mode (if it isn't already). You'll hear an alarm. Wait 30 seconds. You'll have to set the speed limit again using { 1 } and { 2 }.

2) Activate Trailer Mode by pressing { 8 }. Handbrake should be off during trailer mode.

3) Driving Wheel Group friction is displayed on button 7. If it's at 100% = Driving mode. 0% = Trailer mode. If it's not decreasing or increasing automatically, press either { 6 } or { 8 } a second time. Spam { 7 } to increase friction yourself if you don't want to wait.
