Acadian Isles

I wanted to make an island map unlike most of the ones I've seen on the Workshop. So instead of a tropical archipelago, I went for a New England theme. The map is based on a height map of the southern reaches of the famous Acadia National Park in Maine, USA.

Acadian Isles has four major islands within the standard 9-tile grid. The islands are covered in dense forests, with a few open areas suitable for farming. I also hid an oil deposit on the seabed, that you can reach if you're clever enough.

If you play with a 25 tiles mod, then you'll also get access to some ore deposits in the more mountainous north, as well as a railway line.

Hopefully you'll find the map balanced and worth playing. Enjoy!
