SpeurSprite

Description
The SC-17 SpeurSprite Scout Fighter. This is an idea that I had for a scout fighter / drone-wingman duo. It's basically a light fighter that would sacrifice two weapon slots for a drone wingman that you could either keep attached (firing both the aero and drone weapons simultaneously), or detach (letting it hunt on it's own or take simple orders). I already have the Sylph drone ready to upload in case the ability to skin the drone upgrade becomes a possibility.

At request, there are now two versions included (Original and Droneless).

Awesome, thanks!

Sure. I should have it uploaded in the next few days (I might give it a cockpit while I'm at it). Thanks for the comments, glad you like it!

@Supernaut: any chance you could do a version without the drone underneath? This is definitely one of the best-looking original aeros on here, I love the forward-swept wings and the nose-mounted cannon.

No, they don't. I've checked.

Yeah, it's a bit futuristic, but I was just having fun. I guess I should have left the forward swept wings off, and dumped the drone on the bottom (like I originally had it), but mistakes are made. I haven't played F-Zero since the SNES, but the mention of it brings back good memories w/ old friends. Now Ive got to go see if they have it in the Steam store.

That's interesting...

But what I really meant was that the SpeurSprite fighter looks less like an aircraft at all, and more like something you'd see in, oh I dunno, F-Zero or something.

Still, it looks nice and it flies nice.

Good, that's the look that I was going for (a dragster / jet mix). The first scouts ever used by the Air Force were modified racing planes.
