Six days ago asteroid miners discovered a new metal, which was named Dark Steel. The samples of it were transfered to the Laboratory of Duke David. Today there are some prototypes of weapons and armor. Scientists admit, that it's a strong metal of medium mass, which will do the revolution in Victorian technology

Also, that day there was discovered the reason of the Great Conflict. It's Robert Jivs, the captain of pirates, who traveled to the new world together with us. His fleet was destroyed (exept nuclear rockets, which they used to destroy a sity), and Robert with his team was executed. A minute of silence to the people, who died in that sity, and the warriors, who died in Conflict...

Some days ago, a pilot, whose name was Fletcher, destroyed Crescent with the stolen prototype of Gauss Cannon (a dark steel weapon). Now he is in the prison, for stealing the prototyope and spoiling relations with Sentiels.

Yes, Dark Steel has made the revolution, but let's not *cough* forget about the man, who discovered it! Today is the 75'th birthday of Joseph Glinn, that very miner, who found *cough* that pretty dark ore and told about it. Happy birthday, Joseph!

Finished the decryption of executed pirates tech, i. e. nuclear rocket and atomic re*cough*actor. Scientists are at a loss, where and when could they invent that powerful weapon?

Finally, the first Dark Steel Tech was issued. Engeneers, builders and architects are designing new and redesigning old ships and stations

In unite with Farmers, there *cough* was invented a special sort of wood, which could act as light armor or/and a new way to decorate ships and stations.

Some pilot is using Gauss Cannon as a hyperdrive for his ship! We have invited him to take a special interview. *cough*

-yep, it's completely true. I put it on a light ship, charge the cannon, and the knockback does its thing

Because of millitary tech advance, rich pilots sometimes attack fleets of other factions. From one side, Ministry of Defense admires the behavior like this, but from the other, they don't want to spoil relations with other factions.

Today is the first day of Queen Victoria XII reign. But this reign will last forever, because our scientists have finally built the biggest Victorian project ever - the Queen Victoria Machine Intellegence (or simply QVMI), and Victoria herself is the heart of it. Now she is much, much stronger, and can control the empire much more easily (instantly send orders to distant fleets, for example).

But there are also bad news. During the test activation of QVMI not far from the edge of the galaxy there was found a strange fleet, and it doesn't look friendly... Ministries of Defence and Science are doing all they can to improve the weapons and be able to resist sudden attack.

By the way, due to our technical progress we begin to be more sure and, little by little, we make our territories grow, mostly by friendly ways (exept Red, they are aggressive but weak, so we just wipe them off the face of the galaxy).

====Mod Description====
Finally, the long awaited (I hope) mod has came into the Workshop! As you knew out from the text above, I have created bunch of new blocks and modified almost all existing ships and added new ones. Now I'll be more carefull, and update Victorians by little pieces. Happy incoming Christmas, pilots and engeneers :)
