Carnassial Teeth

Description
Sick of waiting for hound attacks for getting more hound teeth? No longer! With this simple mod, some monsters drop teeth very similiar to hound teeth, which can be used for all the same things.

Note that this doesn't affect very common monsters such as spiders (those barely hurt when biting), but a lot of cave creatures.

Also available for DS.

Disclaimer: I haven't tried this with a dedicated server yet. It should work server-only, though clients without this mod will still name the teeth as "hounds tooth".

is this configurable? like making the drop rates lower or higher? if not it might be nice to add that as an option. and maybe have an option to choose which mobs to drop teeth, like werepigs, but not cave worms, you know? might be a nice thing to add

could you invest five seconds in at least looking up if I already did that? Thank you.

could you make a DS port?

It should. This mod only adds the teeth to other creatures and doesn't affect hounds themselves.

Does this mod work with "Hound Tooth Drop"? The mod that allows hounds to periodicly drop teeth.

They're practically identical to hounds teeth. Hounds teeth are also called "carnassial" now.

Can you use carnassial teeth in the same recipes? Or do you craft a whole new different item?
Aquaterion 31 Dec, 2015 @ 3:45am
Or you could find hound mounds.. xD
Mobbstar  [author] 7 Dec, 2015 @ 6:35am
They're the same, just called "carnassial tooth" instead of "hounds tooth" :dshound:
