Unless I/someone actually changes this in the game mechanics in some way, there is no option for a seperate/individual grid.
So you only have a grid, if the actual terrain images contain a grid.
Therefore I can only either replace all ground terrains in this mod, or do a seperate upload.
For the same reason some tiles are larger than others.
Each terrain image is 512x512 pixels (or higher beeing downsized ingame), while containing 10x10 tiles.
So with 512/10 pixels per tile, most authors go for 8 tiles at 51 and 2 at 52 pixels, so they are slightly missized.
Beside that the original AoE actually had each seperate tile as a seperate bmp file of the same size.
So by applying the new images, they get rotated and squeezed, so some detail - mostly noticeable at missing grid line pixels - gets lost - resulting in some grid lines beeing thinner or slightly blurry.
It'll be a seperate version though unless I get massive additional feedback to actually change this one.
But every version is a complete and separate compilation of single mods.
So it only includes content from other mod compilations in case they contain the same single mods. Which is mostly not the case.
You can't use those mods at the same time though for they do replace the same graphics with different replacements. The only thing you can do is to subscribe to several of them and switch according to your daily mood or something like that.
And of yourse you can adjust a mod compilation to your likings by combining it with single content mods not contain in the compilation in case you like them better. I grouped them all in themed collections for easy use.
