Nakamura DB-71 Muscleman Prime Mover Space Truck

The Nakamura DB-71 Muscleman is a commercial prime mover unit, designed to operate with detachable containers in a wide variety of transportation applications. The vehicle fills the gap between small cargo ships and large freighters, able to move heavier loads with less infrastructure overhead and capital investment. Two Wright-Langley I144 main ion thrusters provide it with sufficient thrust to move significant loads, allowing the DB-71 to live up to its name. The Hyderdyne Industries X6 modular reactor and two H-O fuel cells supply the Muscleman with sufficient power for its thrusters, and other on-board equipment.

The DB-71 is marketed to transportation fleets and individual owner-operators through the pacified regions of the Perseus Belt. Quite a number of Musclemen plow the space routes there, transporting cargo from mining outposts to refineres, and from there to shipyards. They see less use in the frontier areas of the sector, as their lack of armaments makes them vulnerable to attacks by still active pirates.

Stock variants feature mostly cosmetic modifications of the cab. Stock variant trailers include:
