Avenger Strike Fighters

In 1 collection by BlackArmor
Warhammer 40K Builds
21 items
Description
No mods. Made for creative mode. 4 for 1 deal this time, just cut the fighters off of the scaffolding and you can save whichever paint scheme you like. The only difference between the fighters is color.

Description:

The Avenger is a strike aircraft modeled after the one used by the Imperial Navy in Warhammer 40K. Its designated role is for ground attacks. The aircraft is armed with four forward gatling guns, four rocket launchers and one rear gatling gun controlled by the gunner's cockpit. It also has retractable landing gear in the form of pistons which can be toggled by pressing 1. The Avenger lands using skids underneath the wing mounted engines and the retractable landing gear. Once you have landed, press Y to turn off the power and the plane should stay put.

There are two cockpits

Front Cockpit (Pilot):
- Controls all maneuvering abilities
- Controls all forward facing weapons by mouse click

Rear Cockpit (Gunner):
- Controls rear gatling gun Shoot ON/OFF
- Controls rear gatling gun movement Left and Right
- Can access forward facing camera and fire all rocket launchers individually using 3,4,8,9 for more precise targeting

Flying Characteristics:

It has great upwards thrust and decent accelerating and braking. There are three side thrusters just to help keep it going in a straight line, but if you want to turn quickly then you should roll using Q or E and pitch up so the UP thrust does the work. Basically fly it how you're supposed to fly a plane.

Known Problems:
-Pistons may break in MP or if you are jerking the thing around

I couldn't decide on a paint scheme, so you get them all. All fighters are identical except for color.

Comments are welcome, enjoy!

Hello!

I was wondering if I could use this in a YouTube video.
I would link this workshop in the description.

If that is okay please add me on steam.

The way I see it, mostly everything I build isn't practical for survival. I'm sure you can make a more functional atmo ship for less resources.
