Lunar Mission-Ready Research ship - S. F. S. Ealadha

Description
Named for a pagan moon-god in the folklore of the ancient Celts, Ealadha represents the culmination of nigh endless research by ST Enterprises' finest technicians. Launch vertically from your Earth-bound base and land on the moon! Unload the rover and see what there is to discover on the lunar surface.
--Six large thrusters get you off the ground in a hurry.
--Ten hydrogen tanks ensure you won't run out of fuel at any point in your journey to the moon, OR the way back.
--Once you've broken atmo, you can deactivate the hydrogen thrusters to save fuel, and fall back on a full complement of ionic thrusters.
--With all non-essential functions inactive, this ship can fly at full throttle for 1-2 hours. If inertial dampeners are off, the ship can stay powered for up to 45 days.
--Main entrance and fueling receptical are along the spine of the craft, to be used with vertical scaffolding.
--A small hangar door is installed at aft, for easy egress with or without the companion rover.
--One large cargo container can be found in the main hold, to take rare ores back to your planetary outpost. Also consider bringing materials with you on the way out to the lunar surface; This way, you can build a moon base before returning home.
--All of Ealadha's functions are available for remote access, if needed. A standard antenna can be used in most situations, but this ship does come equipped with a laser antenna for stealthier operations. Be sure your broadcasting vector is unobstructed!
--A pilot and one other engineer can be seated on the bridge. Two additional engineers can rest in cryo pods in the main hold.
--Eight oxygen tanks and an oxygen generator will keep you breathing for as long as you have to be away from home. In the cargo hold there is a small container which can be used to store O2 bottlles, as well.
--Ore detector installed in the fuselage to allow flyover surveys of the lunar surface prior to choosing a landing site.
--Beacon installed in the nose cone to guide wayward engineers back to the landing site. Uses less power than the antenna!
--With dampeners inactive and a competent pilot, this ship can even be used for interplanetary travel. Be sure you bring enough parts to construct a base if you're planning to visit Mars.

NOTE: In the interest of keeping material costs low, Ealadha does not feature any survival-necessary equipment. (Refinery, assembler, etc.) It's intended for lunar exploration and resupply missions.
