Full detail English Lower Leagues [ALPHA 0.13]

Description
Moved! See http://sortitoutsi.net/forums/topic/24768/full-detail-english-lower-leagues-alpha-016 for latest version.

Football Manager files on Steam Workshop cannot be updated once uploaded so instead of uploading hundreds of versions, I have moved it elsewhere. Less convenient to install but you get much more recent files.

ALPHA 0.13 (22 Dec 2015)

Fully playable English league system, currently incomplete and in development.

I saw a bunch of really hastily put together databases (clubs randomly assigned into leagues, all clubs with
the exact same kit, randomly generated players) so I thought I would have a go at making something more
realistic.

FULL LEAGUE SYSTEM TO TIER 10

All clubs are in the correct divisions as of the start of the 2015-2016 season, and all to tier 10 are
playable. The league rules are correct as far as possible with the basic rule editor. I will need to finish
creating all competitions and clubs before delving into the advanced editor for fully accurate rules.

YOUTH LEAGUE SYSTEM

All clubs have appropriate youth squads and academy squads and includes competitions such as the Conference
Youth Alliance and others. For clubs with a total of more than 3 teams, there is a separate affiliated
"Academy" sub team. These are not yet playable.

FULL HISTORY AND ROSTER FOR KINGSTONIAN AND SOUTH SHIELDS

Well, you have to start somewhere. ;)

PLANNED FEATURES

- All clubs playable in the correct divisions down to tier 12
- All squads to be club-appropriate with correct representation of reserve, U21 and U18 squads
- Full history for all clubs, as far as public records allow
- All club logos
- All kits correct
- All player faces where available
- Fully accurate cup system for all tiers

SHOULD I GET THIS NOW OR WAIT?

If you're the kind of person who wants to play one very long career and you very rarely restart, you should wait, since once you start a game, no future updates will be included in that saved file.

If you don't mind starting over a few times when new versions come out, there's no harm in trying this out in its current state.

It's very playable but most of the very low tier teams have random players and staff and inaccurate histories and finances at the moment, as well as missing logos and kits.

NEW IN 0.13

- Added complete data for South Shields, including all players, staff and history (excluding some cup history)
- Added a bunch of extinct leagues to cover the South Shields data
- Added a few extinct or lower teams where South Shields players had history
- Added two missing divisions to tier 10, to make 17 divisions total
- All logos for clubs in tier 7, plus a few others at random, including South Shields (in required items)
- All faces for staff and players at South Shields, where possible (in required items)

NEW IN 0.11

- Added FA Vase First Qualifying Round history for all clubs.
- Added most players for Battersea Ironsides.

I noticed you have the Birmingham Senior Cup playable in the 0.18 Version. How does this work? obviously IRL clubs like Birmingham & WBA wouldn't send their 1st teams to play in it

Check out this post which should help: http://www.fmscout.com/q-3319-Where-do-I-put-custom-databases.html

The file locations might be different on Mac but I'm not using one so I'm afraid I can't help, but will generally be where your Steam user data is.

When you have subscribed on here, you can start a new game and there is a button for custom data files. You need to select the custom data file that comes with this item and when you do that, it will incorporate all the changes.

The data changes don't include the logos or player faces, so if you want those, you need to subscribe separately. Logos and faces DON'T need to be activated when starting a new game, but you WILL need to clear your skin cache by using the game settings -> interface settings and choosing to clear skin cache.

Note that this one is really really out of date, so please do consider the one linked in the description which has a bit more stuff. It's still way off being finished but does give you the choice of three fully detailed teams at least, and more accurate lower league cups.

How do you get this working when you just subscribe on here? Tried starting a new save but the leagues don't show as an option to play, Thanks :)

I stopped putting versions on Steam simply because there is no way to update existing files in the Football Manager Steam Workshop which means that I have to do a new upload every single time. If they fix this issue I will update existing files on Steam and everyone will be able to automatically get the updates, but until then I'll be putting new versions on the link in the comments.

Can you put your new version onto steam for me please
fw190a8  [author] 27 Dec, 2015 @ 4:55pm
Thanks! There's a much more modern version at http://sortitoutsi.net/forums/topic/24768/full-detail-english-lower-leagues-alpha-016 which has a lot more in it. Steam Workshop won't allow me to update existing files and I can't keep uploading every version here so I've moved it over there instead.
