Youthful Bard | Regular Version

Going in for your Bard run? Now you can make bard return to his prime and look fabulous while traversing the dungeon. This mod is for the regular game, without any DLC.

Please use the correct mod for your game. If you use the wrong version, you will get an error.

Replaces the Bard graphics with a younger version of himself and updates the bestiary graphic. A few of his sound effects have been pitch-shifted higher to make him sound younger. His clone is also updated to match his new look.

Made to fit in with the game's style and theme so as not to be distracting. I tried to match the art style as best I could!

If the pitch-shifting bothers you, you can remove it. Go to your Steam Apps folder, then Crypt of the Necrodancer, look in "Downloaded_Mods" and find this mod. There will be a "Sounds" folder, you can delete it to remove the voice changes.

Since this is a simple graphics and sound replacement, it should still work with the current game.

If for some reason this mod breaks, I am happy for other modders to use the files & create their own updated fork. Just please credit the art! Thanks.
