Thunderling Gunboat Mk2

Description
An upgrade to the Thunderling Gunship built by Aavak, this upgrade adjusts the timing on the forward AAA gun for more sustained fire, and adds a light auto cannon on the stern of the ship. In addition the entire ship has a light treatment of metal cladding. Also it menaces with spikes just a little.

The main idea here is to give Aavak and anyone who uses this ship a natural and CHEAP upgrade point. Rather than stripping down the ship to its hull and rebuilding the guts, it’s just some basic upgrades.

Aavak's original design found HERE

I actually downloaded Aavaks ship as well its really good. I also modified it as well to be more survivable and cost effective.

It's a really good ship chassis if anyone wants a well balanced one that is medium sized.

I'm sure a fleet paintjob would help distinguish it.

I'm working on some utility craft before I make a Mk3. Probobly won't change it until after I dust off the DWG. Need to expand the fleet.

it looks like a deep water gaurd ship with the metal and wood good upgrade though

Well that is the idea of a Mk2. Really I didn't do much, just replaced wood with metal, removed some lead, added the rear cannon. Added a few wee spikes on the guns, weapon tuning.
