Description
A small Drill Ship without armor for Planets, meant to be the first ship in (realistic) survival.
For a more advanced, non-vanilla version, see my other creation: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1248016954
Numbers

It's capable of lifting 60,000kg load (+41,000kg own mass) at 1.10g (Alien Planet), even nose down.
The inventories (medium cargo, 4x drill, connector and cockpit) can hold 19,000L ore = ~51,000kg.
When fully charged, the batteries last for at least 30 minutes under full load and acceleration.

Its thin design allows for digging tunnels without moving sideways. The drills will create a hole big enough to fit the ship!

It's got three small thrusters in all directions, respectively, to provide great maneuverability while mining.
The three gyroscopes allow for fast rotations, even under load.

No mods have been used for this ship (a.k.a. vanilla).

Default toolbar
1: Select drills tool
2: Toggle drills on/off
7: Toggle connector on/off
8: Toggle battery recharge on/off. Caution!: On means that batteries will NOT supply any power. Useful to save power when parked and recharge while connected to another ship/station.
9: Toggle thrusters on/off. Useful to save power when not needed.

Warning!
The ship does not have any downwards thrusters!
This is almost useless weight - let gravity pull you towards the surface if you want to get down.
(Same controls used. Default: "C")
Just make sure you don't fall over. There's no way to get up once the ship lies on it's back.

i set this today to test out if it stands the passing of time.. nice ship but.. no ejectors.. i guess when it was made and when i subs to it ejectors were not a thing in 2018. Even set it up to work with PAM and its all nice except ejectors needed for that.

Thanks for your feedback.
I just tested the ship again, for me the cargo container was accessible. Please note that it's connected via small conveyors - so only small items like ores can be transferred.

About the downward thrust:
You are right about the drilling. Angled is the way to go.
Straight down is also possible, but risky - especially in first person.

Considering this is the first ship you build (at least I do), it's available earlier in the game without addiontal thrusters. Once you gathered some resources with it you can easily add some downwards thrusters if you want.
I just feel that it adds too much weight, since flipping can be easily avoided by not going sraight down. Especially if you want to use large thrusters, which is what you need to fully prevent flipping under full load.
I guess its a matter of taste.

Hey, Not a bad design, only things ive noticed with it, the medium cargo container isnt accessible via the oxygen tank, once drills were full that was it.

secondly, id disagree with the downward thrust - going in nose down with this ship (vertically), if the back end tilts slightly it will fall onto its "roof" without any thrust to counter, it ends up stuck. not sure if you planned this to drill straight down or angled, i found going in angled was fine, just vertical it fell on its head
