Description
R.U.S.T. Pioneer pod

Cheapest way to get in and out of the planets atmpsphere.
These pods were used for early exploration by fringe dwellers with a flat purse.
The pods are so cheap that when they run out of power, the batteries are simply replaced by new ones
or they are scrapped for parts.


The pod is not equiped with life support but is able to fill oxygen tanks.
Oxygen can tanks have to be loaded manualy into the cockpit when traveling for an extended period of time.

Cargo capacity is low. Overloading the pod wil cause it to stay stuck on the ground.

They use raw ice for fuel and can be refueled withing a minute to get in and out of atmosphere.

The pod is equiped with a interiour turret.

Been working on an upgraded version that can also double as an escape pod.

This is just a blueprint. not a mod. How ever, there should be a mod out there using this ship as main respawn ship.

I'm having trouble getting this to appear as a respawn ship in the respawn list, the mod isn't showing on the mod list when you create a custome game, let alone as a respawn ship. Help?

Thanks for the ship though, I love the look and the "practicality"

Really curious about those slanted solar panels in the background. Have played with this a lot and have not been able to figure out how to angle them like that.
