Description

This evening you are in charge of the return journey of a railtour between London and Crewe. Using preserved Class 40 '40145', you will be driving the leg between London Kings Cross and Peterborough.

Briefing

Starting at London Kings Cross, first release your doors to allow passengers to board before awaiting your departure time of 17:03. You will then proceed to Connington Junction where you have a booked wait to allow faster services to pass before continuing to Peterborough where there will be a driver change.

Notes

This scenario is based on an actual railtour and it's timings, but due to stock limitations, the era has been changed slightly. Knowledgeable members will also be aware that certain items of stock are currently still unavailable for this route on Train Simulator, or available for use on the workshop, namely items such as the Class 317 and Class 313. Services worked by the latter have been omitted from the scenario.
