Finnish Winter War SP and Coop Valour mod Talvisota!!!

Description
Mission based on Talvisota The winter war Movie. Can you survive? do you got what it takes to beat this on heroic? Just try and see if you have the bravery of the finnish soldiers.

The Soviet Union ostensibly sought to claim parts of Finnish territory, demanding—amongst other concessions—that Finland cede substantial border territories in exchange for land elsewhere, claiming security reasons, primarily the protection of Leningrad, which was only 32 km (20 mi) from the Finnish border. Finland refused and the USSR invaded the country. Many sources conclude that the Soviet Union had intended to conquer all of Finland, and use the establishment of the puppet Finnish Communist government and the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact's secret protocols as proof of this, while other sources argue against this idea of a full Soviet conquest.

The Soviets possessed more than three times as many soldiers as the Finns, thirty times as many aircraft, and a hundred times as many tanks. The Red Army, however, had been crippled by Soviet leader Joseph Stalin's Great Purge of 1937. With more than 30,000 of its officers executed or imprisoned, including most of those of the highest ranks, the Red Army in 1939 had many inexperienced senior and mid-level officers. Because of these factors, and high morale in the Finnish forces, Finland repelled Soviet attacks for several months, much longer than the Soviets expected.

Make sure you also download the valour update script place it inside your valour folder and run it.

Warning for YOutube vidoe makers. It has a copy right song Talvisota by that band Sabaton it comes up when you enter village. Disable music if you want to avoid all that stupid copy right garbage.

Updated and working on latest valour as of 2/25/2021

Also JAMP has the Sailor hat, and Oscari the flat hat, I had to update all the breeds of soldiers, and saw the names jamp and oskari gone from the list. Also there is a bug due to the valour mod, T34 and KV1 tank will not move, I tried multiple times to fix this, but the mod itself adds a tag to the tanks that breaks them.

IDK man the mission is pretty easy on it's own, really. You got alot of reinforcements for free, and the finnish side barely gets anything, being overrun by your forces soon. Very easy!

What battle is represented in this mission? Asking cuz there is a big amount of Swedish helmets on Finnish soldiers.

May I please suggest reworking the mission to allow playing for the Soviet side as well?

I visited Finland about 20 years ago and liked their organized society alot. It was surprising for me to see how they still held to the Finnish state's actions in WW2, so when I got back to the US, I checked US news and magazine reports from the time period. The general view in mainstream US publications was that Finland was the "good" side in the Winter War, but on the "bad" team, ie. the Axis, in the 1941-1945 Continuation War.

Trying to be objective, there is alot that can be said for both sides in the Winter War, but I think that the Finnish side in the Continuation War doesn't work smoothly. For instance, in 1939, the USSR invaded Finland, and once the war started, the USSR made aquiring Finland one of its goals. These factors wigh in favor of Finland. But the lead Soviet goal was to protect itself from a German invasion, not to conquer Finland. Then in 1941, Finland and Germany invaded the USSR, and their goal was to conquer the USSR. At that point, if the Finnish and German side won WW2, the German plan was to enslave or genocide all non-Germanic people, whom they counted as "sub-human."

The main Finnish concern was retaining independence, and there could be a couple strategies for this, like a new agreement that met the Soviets needs so that they wouldn't be impelled to fight. The strategy that the Finnish side historically chose for retaining independence was to focus on a military defensive buildup. However, the negotiations of November 9, 1939 focused on a 20 km area around Fort Ino, an area suggested as a concession to the Soviet side by Mannerheim, and it doesn't look like that region would drastically weaken Finland's defenses.
The top Finnish commander, Mannerheim, promoted being more generous in concessions to the Soviet side, whereas the Finnish government was more minimalist in its concessions.

If one tried to look at the conflict objectively and in the interests of avoiding the war, it looks like a tough situation for both sides, as you rightly noted in your Description. In terms of modern diplomacy, the best solution would be to try to meet the needs of both sides.
The Soviet side's main concern was that since Finland's territory included Leningrad's suburbs, then a big power, particularly Germany, would use Finland's territory to invade the USSR, which historically happened.
