Marrakech

Description
Marrakech is an easy to learn, fun to play game for 2-4 players. Games typically last around 20 minutes.

Each player has a color and plays only carpets of his color from his stack. The players also move a single “trader” piece on the grid using a special six-sided dice. When someone moves the trader to an opponent's carpet, they have to pay an amount of game money equal to the size of connected carpet squares of the same colour to the owner of the carpet. The players aim to earn money this way and to have less of their carpets covered by other pieces of carpet

Thank you so much for making such a wonderful game! I'm from China and I know many board game players like it, but I find that it might be the only "Marrakech" game in the workshop. Would you please admitting me translate it into Chinese? I'll mark you as the author ;) just want more CN players to play this game

I'm running a few tests after unlocking one of the Assam pieces on the corners of the board and it seems to hold up fairly well. It might be safe to use the actual piece instead of the knight substitute now.

Not that I know of unfortunately. You'll probably want to lock them for best results. This was the best I could come up with within TTS

I love this game. I used the chain tool to "attach" the rugs to the board, but they don't really flatten. By the end we had a lot of ramps piled on ramps making a very uneven floor for Assam to walk on. We changed Assam to the Wolf in the TTS components because he was a very low-height figure and it was easy to see which was he was looking. We had to shrink the wolf to half the sizd to ensure carpets didnt collide with him. Another problem is all the yellow carpets we chained to the board turned white. I also spawned checkers pieces to make supports to help keep new carpets flat.

I will keep playing it as I do love it and we did make it work. Is there a way to attach the carpets in a way that they truly flatten to the board?

I'm here because the anime Houkago Saikoro Club played this game on the 1st episode. :selphinehappy:

@Levan Shprota: I don't think there's really anything I can do about that. I think I had made the rugs decks of cards. So the collision of cards is more an issue on the developers side. When I made this a few years ago it worked pretty well, maybe they've tweaked a few of their settings since and thrown off the physics that once worked.

for the love of god, PLEASE fix the rugs' collisions! overlapping them is pure hell, and I'm not even talking about having to walk Assan over all the overlapped rugs...

@nickNickNICK Really? That's strange... I wonder if there's a way to script it to be locked in vertical position to keep that from happening.
