Economy Edition V2 Defence Stations

The ETDS - V2 (economy turret defence station) and the EHDS - V2 (economy hanger defence station) are both small affordable defence stations to be employed in numbers to areas of key strategic significance. Both stations come equipped with similar facilities to their larger, more expensive, counterparts.

The ETDS - V2 contains small, but ample living space for a recommended 4 crew members to live and work.
The station comes with an armament of turrets with the capability to be switched to auto control if personnel are unavailable for operating. The weapon systems are as follows:

- 1 "Little David" 360 Top Mounted Turret
- 3 "300mm" Side Turrets (positioned left, right and front)
- 1 "M61 Vulcan" Back Mounted Turret
- 1 "900mm AutoCannon" Bottom Mounted Turret

The ETDS - V2 also comes with an automatic airlock installed for quick and easy passage in and out of the station. Simply walk up close to the door until you hear the sensor beep then wait for the airlock to pressurize/depressurize and for the door to open. Emergency manual controls are situated inside the airlock in the case of system failure.

The EHDS - V2 comes with very similar equipment and facilities to the ETDS but lacks a dedicated automated airlock due to structural limitations. The EHDS - V2 is capable of housing 4 fighters inside its hangar for safe storage while repairs are carried out. The hangar uses a gravity field to allow engineers to walk and ships to land on all four sides, allowing for a more compact space. There is one additional landing point just outiside the external airlock for transit to and from the station.
