Highway Roundabout

Very compact roundabout which transitions highway traffic to surface streets and handles much more traffic than a typical cloverleaf.

This intersection is an iteration of designs used on the Autobahn in Germany, although tweaked to better fit the physics of Cities: Skylines. With two on and off ramps in each direction, traffic turning left never impedes traffic turning right. Vanilla AI makes good use of all three lanes in the roundabout and traffic flows freely, even under heavy load.

Cost to build is just over $29k and this intersection requires no mods.
