Description

This is a re-skinned texture I at first made for me because I was getting sick of my old ones. I got it online somewhere a while back so I couldn’t find the original creator (if you know them please let me know so I can credit them), but the original gloves looked sort of like the ones in the link below but a lot brighter:

At this point it's a pretty different skin. I took their design and inversed the colors (more black, less white), changed the base/reflection textures, made the skin lighter, added a tattoo and design on the strap. The tattoo I was on-edge about so let me know if you want it without it, or you can give me a recommended .jpg to put on it.

The gloves have really great detail (thanks to the creator), and have a hex pattern on the fingers and thumb, they also reflect light nicely. They have grey fabric on the sides of the fingers along with white stitches.

- Plan to upload a whole new addon that allows you to change the glove color and appearance with console commands. I will have multible color options and tattoo options.

-Changed the light map to include the new symbols and stitching.
-Removed the flat reflective part on the strap facing the player.
-Added a thumb pad.
-Other small fixes and texture clipping.

oh hey i was wondering if you can make a different mod it'll be like this but different hand models you know the metropolice hands yeah would you be able to make a mod where those hands/arms/gloves are all playermodel hands i would be incredibly happy

This was eventually going to be part of that addon I mentioned in the desciption where you can customize the gloves in real-time in the game. Just never got around to it.

Actually i have a variety of colors for you. Pick what you want. There are also versions with different combinations of symbols. Just copy and replace the "v_hands.vtf" if you want to try a new texture. You can do it ingame and it should change right away. No need to restart. There should always be 5 files in the hands folder though. Some of the colors dont include the v_hands_exp.vtf because its always the same. Just replace the "v_hands.vtf" and leave the rest for each new color.

If you are using these then I would agree, the other ones are better. These were kinda just something I felt like making over a few days. Nothing special. Looking back I'm not really a fan of the tattoo, just tried to do something different.

Heres are the files. Delete all the olds ones and replace them with these.

I didn't make the texture from scratch, just improved it to my liking. But here are some places where it can be seen. I my "T" symbol to the strap. Another design to the back, made them grey, and made the runner palms reflective. I currently use these.

Glad it worked. You can follow the same process for any glove textures in the future if they don't work. Or just find your own textures on gamebanana.com . And you're fine don't worry. Happy to help as long as the other person is willing to help figure it out with me. Anyway, take care.
