Longbow peak use was between 1250-1450 AD. Normandy used a form of "Longbow" before this date and thus when encountering the welsh "who also used a form of longbow" - after this the english adopted the welsh longbowmen "Archers" into the english army.
Welsh= best archers in the uk, becouse of their training, but were not the creators of the "Longbow" that falls to the normans and ango norman decendants. "Aka - Germania
