IMDC Protos-class Light Support Corvette Mk.2

[this build is now obsolete for the IMDC and has a design flaw with its front rocket launchers not being connected to the rest of the ship]

This fast and light corvette was created during the great planet race, when it was becoming clear, that more fire power and presence was needed to claim large planetary territories. Additionally, the logistical challenges on planets with their strong gravity fields and atmosphere denying Ion engines, needed more advanced solutions.

This corvette was build of the remains of a Proteus frigate from the old IMDC collection. As more and more systems and gadgets are released with the technological progress, ships are getting bigger, too, hence the classification as corvette.
