You ought to follow these steps to get the background video:

1. Download this file from here [www.dropbox.com]

2. Put this file into this folder: Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\media (do not forget to make a backup of original files before replacing)

3. Make four copies of the replaced file, then rename those files. That is how it should look like:
