The Tigershark is a multi-crew fighter bomber. Often flying in support of Barracuda starfighter wings or in larger groups as protective screening for the larger Tau Manta Destroyers or Emissary class vessels. While not a fast moving craft, they are commonly fitted with multi-vectored thrust capability, advanced electronic systems and piloting by the Tau Air Caste who have naturally superior three dimensional awareness when compared to human pilots. Commonly armed with twin-linked Ion Cannons and wing mounted missile pods. Tigersharks are most effective when accompanied by Barracudas for fighter cover or other supportive combat vessels.
