For making castle maps, I think that's the most difficult job and secret thing in STW2. The STW1 developers made STW1 easy to make castle maps but this STW2 developers made STW2 very hard to find the files and edit castle maps. I don't know why.
Anyway I let you know where they are.
1) Open the original STW2 terrain.pack file using PFM.
2) Go to presets.
That's it.
If you want to edit them, use Ted and open one of those files.
Edit each castle maps one by one.
I wanted to know how you accessed the Original Battlefield data, or did you just create everything from scratch?
1) Open the Ted.
2) Go to File and open Load Battlefield.
3) Open Castle file that you want to edit.
4) Click the centre yellow point of capture point until you can see yellow box.
5) Move it where you want.
6) Save when you've done.
Because the Ted is very sensitive, be careful clicking and moving of mouse.
If you don't find the map in the Load file, go to
C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Shogun2\maps
Put the map file in there and follow above steps.
i looked arround on the google machiene a bit but i cant seem to find how to load up the default maps in the TEd tool. how do i do that?
