ALiVE is the next generation dynamic persistent battlefield for ArmA3. Developed by the Multi Session Operations team, the easy to use modular mission framework provides everything that players and mission makers need to set up and run realistic military operations in almost any scenario up to Company level, including command, combat support, service support and logistics.

AI Commanders automatically plan and direct missions for all AI forces across the Area of Operations, identifying strategic objectives and reacting to changes in the tactical situation. The revolutionary Virtual Profile System can support thousands of units operating simultaneously across the map with minimal impact on performance. The result is a realistic and constantly changing battlefield which truly brings ArmA3 ALiVE.

Q. If War Room is down, how do I save my mission progress/use persistence?

A. Set the 'Database Source' parameter in the ALiVE data module to 'Local'. This will allow persistence to function via saving mission persistence data to the host machine, and you can save as normal.

Q. Are the official Bohemia Interactive DLCs & CDLC's compatible with ALiVE?

A. Yes all DLCs & CDLC's are compatible.

Is there any a way to change the insignia on vehicles? I noticed you can do it through attributes in the editor. But there's no option through the ALiVE faction creator, it only lets you change skins

@★ GallowDancer its a problem with the mod the factions are based off, they have inbuilt randomisation scripts most likely.

Seems broken. Created a few British Factions using this. Now in the past week, I am not able to. It switches the clothes to the faction it's based off instead of using the clothes I put on to the faction.

Looks like I took the worst time to get interested in Indexing maps, as I'm having issues with getting DeWrp to work and I can see some very good google answer results, but they're all on wiki or forums that have been down for over a month. :Miller:

@Alum I think you can tag,group and name your units by adding editorSubcategory = "my name"; to each unit in autogen.hpp file.

Hey! This may be a dumb question, but do you know how to make seperate categories of troops? I intend on having two seperate categories, but i want to specifically name one of them "Home Guard", is this something that I can do in the unit editor? Or something I have to do in the directory? Thanks in advance!
