Cheat Vest

Description
This enables the "Cheat Vest" item for purchase from the start of the game.

Default is to only give 1 armor, but the XComCheatVest.ini can be modified to give far more.

For stats, it can give additional -

* HP
* Armor (Fixed in v1.1)
* Mobility
* Aim
* Hacking
* Defense
* Dodge
* Sheild (v1.1)
* HP Regeneration (v1.1)

It can also give additional abilities normally only found in other items or armor.

These include -

* Mindshield
* Grapple
* Wraith
* Fortress
* Squadsight
* Shadowstep
* Teleport (v1.1)

Cost of vest can also be modified in the ini (v1.1).

Changes to the XComCheatVest.ini take effect on the next load in the strategy map.

The location of the XComCheatVest.ini should be - SteamApps\common\XCOM 2\XComGame\Mods\CheatVest\Config

If you save the game in tactical then changes will not take effect until the end of the mission
and the strategy map loads again. Previous ini settings will apply to the save.

All values work but the abilities dont any ideas?

ive deleted the comman infront and it shows as

;Allows the soldier to walk through walls, the same ability the Wraith armor confers.

For those who can't find it, it is directly inside the Steamapps file, probably not in XCOM's file (I couldn't find it inside it even with the search bar) use the search bar within the steamapps file and it may appear. It can take a couple minutes for some odd reason for it to appear

For help finding the ini, try steamapps/workshop/content/268500\620633882 it may not be the exact numbers of my file but it will be one of them files in the content file.

I just copied this message from a previous page that somebody else wrote because I was able to find it there, thanks random dude :praisesun:

I can build the vest, and I can see it in the inventory,but when I try to equip it to a solder, the vest never shows in the list of the solder's equip-sable list,why?
