Description
Alters XCOM's widescreen support to be Hor+ rather than Vert-. Additionally resolves several UI alignment issues.

No configuration or actions required on your part - this mod is as simple as it gets.

Looks like the Anarchy's Children patch fixed several of the most notable shader and texturing issues. There's a couple fullscreen shader effects that still aren't the proper resolution, but they're at least centered now. Most of the popup dialogs are fixed now as well. While it's stil not perfect, overall the compatibility is quite a bit better than it was previously.

Should have no effect when running at 16:9 resolutions. Tested on 21:9 Ultrawide resolutions, but should also work for multi-monitor resolutions, within reasonable limits (looking at you, dude with 5 monitors).

been meaning to get around to this game for years, first thing i noticed was the menus are kinda fucked, second thing was that i felt like i was looking at combat through a toilet paper roll. thanks for this fix, I don't think I could've played without it

The mod fixes my in-ship view using an ultra-wide monitor so that's awesome, but unfortunately it seems to induce a GPU usage drop to about 50% which cuts the FPS in half too. Enabled/Disabled the mod a few times to confirm it. Damn.
