Description
DOES NOT REPLACE standart grenadier!

UPDATE(02/21/2016): Class name now showing, added alien skills, general balancing.

UPDATE(02/27/2016): Reworked Heavy Gunner Tree. Guardian+Covering Fire was Frustrating this 50% chance is always face ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you ---> killing only enemy with overwatch it proccs beeing useless since no enemy left. dmging one of several enemys ---> no procc... wasnt efficent to rely on RNGesus ;>

The Revamped Grenadier
You get launch grenade and heavy ordnance on suqaddie (yes both)... who the hack would bring a grenade launcher to the field for 1 shot ? xD

LEFT SKILL TREE:(Heavy Gunner) made for assault cannon use,
T1: Shredder (basic)
T2: Suppression (basic)
T3: Holo Targeting (basic)
T4: Chain Shot (basic)
T5 LIGHTNING HANDS: Works with primary Weapon, thus being moved from T2 to T5 since its really powerfull in this build.
T6 BLASTER: replaces standart attack (you can still use standart cant get rid of it yet but you shouldnt) its a basic shot BUT it costs 1 action point only and does not end your turn. if you use it before moving you can use your remaining movement point to shoot a second time or go overwatch.

As you can see the Heavy Gunner now is worthy of his name. Given he stays in place he can get 4 shots out every 4th turn whn comboing blaster+lightning hands+chainshot. rest of the time he ll just suppress enemys or shoot+suppress if immobile.

RIGHT SKILL TREE:(Assault Pioneer) made for shotgun use,
T1-T5: skills are all basic.
T6: MICROMISSILES: Its a shot dealing regular weapon dmg BUT with added AOE radius. it uses your weapons ammo to fire and cant be used if weapon is empty. It does not benefit from Salvo ! if you shoot your turn ends.

THATS the skill i was looking for making a grenadier a grenadier. it s very strong maybe even a bit op as long there are many enemys close by but against single targets its basicliy a normal shot that destroys cover (what demolition should be !) so we have to test a lot for balancing.

If you dont feel like beeing sneaky assualt pioneer just pick first 3 Perks from left tree and T4-T6 from right and there you go: You gott an Artillerist.


Im totally new to modding in x-com and still have some minor problems. But i spend a whole week of my holiday on getting into it and testing/balancing and i hope you enjoy the mods i made.
If anyone could give me advise how to customize skill names and buttons= help would be appreciated!

with allthe revamped classes i cant use predator armour not sure about the warden armor yet

Got a bug to report. For some reason, Shredder doesn't proc when using Lightning Hands. It works just fine under any other circumstance though.

the grenadier hasnt a grenade launcher equiped as default you must equip one ( added grenade_launcher_CV as base setup but seems thats the wrong file/item name all other 2ndarys i found out) can anyone tell me the right name for the GameData fiele with the squaddie gear ?

Bug Report: The Grenade launcher is not working. Normal Grenade throw is working.

ah thanks i actually had 2 mistakes in there. the + was one of them (had it removed added seceral times alrdy) but the actual problem was in the class data i had it named revampedgrenadierclass and in the localization only rvampedgrenadier (i used a guide for that and it was wrong in there too ...)

Delete the '+' next to the [bracketed] headers in XComGame.int. The names will show up then.
