1) Subscribe to the mod (obviously)
2) Locate the files by exiting l4d2, right-click it, go to Properties and click local files and browse it
3) Find a file called left4dead2 (not the dlc just left4dead2)
4) Inside, find the Addons file
5) Check the workshop folder and find this, (627675318)
6) Bring the folder and image back to where you find workshop folder and read me.txt
7) Unsubscribe to the mod on Steam Workshop
Voila! It should work now. (note that you probably still need to check the box ingame)
PS: I'm not sure whether this will work or not but I know the steps from another mod like this one, changes names of the survivors.
