Description
This is my entry into the UESC: Orbital Cargo ship contest.

UPDATE: The Competition has closed it came 6th place.

I will proceed to update and fix the technical issues with some ship systems. In the near future I will complete the Jump drive module I have planned but never had the time to finish.

Instructions


I have moved the button instructions to the images along with the rest.

Please ask me any questions if the instructions are not clear then I will procede to answer them and maybe edit the instructions.

Current Features


-Modules that are able to detach from the main ship that can carry large amounts of cargo
-each current module is its own ship and can be steered to ground from orbit.
-Each module has a different purpose (Cargo, Production, Gas) [cargo and production can carry 842,000+ litres of ore]
-Awesome flightseat LCD panel configuration. (you will know what I mean when you see it)
-two Hangars
-ship has the capacity to carry 20,000,000 kg's alone. So you can remove the modules and carry ships or stations in and out of orbit. (theoretically proven through calculation not through experimentation. Please comment below if this is not the case then I will update to the true value)
-Semi intuitive Hangar Pressurization system. (airlock currently experiencing problems. Need to fix when I have time.)
-Elevator from ground level to ship. (careful to force weld elevator when moving otherwise it explodes)
- Teleden's Inventory Management script in use on the ship to make cargo management a lot easier.

Update 1
-Renamed all buttons
-Automated central Airlock
-Added in Artificial Horizon and Whip's Compass and Bearing scripts (it was hard to land the ship with such limited outside view. These should make it easier)
-Added connectors to hangars
-added some extra details to the aesthetics (not complete)

Update 2
-Finshed Configuring Controls
-Added Cameras
-Airlock and timerblock issues Fixed
-Edited some information on LCD's to be more useful
-Could not make Elevator more user friendly due to Force weld only being an on/off option. (Added light warning instead)
-Finished aesthetics
-Made fast and slow LCD's for MMaster's Automatic LCD's
-Ready for UESC Competition

Update 3
-Fixed Cameras being wrongly Orientated for all Modules
-Fixed Batteries being turned off on Cargo Module
-Fixed wrong naming of Connectors on Cargo Module
-increased font size on one of the LCD's

Update 4
-Added Laser Antenna controls to Modules
-Named 2 more buttons I forgot to do.

Update 5
-fixed missing lock/unlock controls for Module controls configuration
-fixed Gas module missing Laser Antenna controls
-fixed front central hangar sensor not turning off when hangar opens
-fixed external rear hangar sensor not opening airlocks for ships.

Possible future features:
-Self charging Jump Drive Module

this blueprint is ancient it might be buggy.

I can't seem to figure out why the majority of Hydro thrusters will not turn on. They show they are on, I own all blocks, the Hydro tanks are 100%. I don't see any breaks in the conveyor chain. Any ideas?

WOOO it came 6th place. Now to upload the fully fixed version. I have discovered a couple of issues with some wrong timerblock commands. I will uplaod this version soon. I will also complete the Jump drive module hopefully in 2 weeks time when I have a long Holiday.

@ Breeze: I know I do not need to link them but it is just so that I source where I got my scripts from. The ship has a massive thrust to weight ratio you can put the thrusters to half way when the ships own cargo is fully loaded as to conserve H2. It is only when you are carrying fully loaded modules or large ships/stations that full thrust is needed.

@ Chuck: I was thinking about putting in insturctions but I am currently busy with work so I had little time. It was either that or you being able to tell I am using a laptop. :) The filightseat is my favorite part of the ship. I can't stop opening and closing it. XD
